Tackling Money Worries and NHS Projects
We work in partnership with Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB) and Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS for our Tackling Money Worries project and NHS projects. Based in health centres in the areas of Possilpark, Maryhill and Woodside, we provide crucial advice to low income families, families with young or disabled children, mental health patients or clients with other health related issues about benefits, debt, money worries, housing or immigration.
The Equalities Project seeks to broaden the range of volunteering opportunities available for people across the protected characteristics.
Better Lives Project
The aim is to maximise tenants’ income, increase their money-management skills, and enhance their employability prospects.
Energy Advice Project
This project aims to help people in the Maryhill and Kelvin Canal area reduce and eventually eradicate fuel poverty and fuel debt.
My Great Start
This project, funded by the Wheatley Group, supports new tenants of three registered social landlords in Glasgow: Glasgow Housing Association; Cube; and Loretto.
Benefits of Going Digital
The 'Benefits of Going Digital' is an SCVO funded project, aiming to empower the local communities to enhance their digital skills and access the ever evolving welfare benefits system online.
MAPCAB & Woodlands Community Food Development Project
In partnership with Woodlands Community and funded by Development Trusts Association Scotland this project aims to establish and develop links with community groups and emergency food aid providers to help combat the impacts of welfare reform.
